Dibuixos de Santiago Rusiñol (1866-1932)

To mark the commemoration of the Rusiñol Year, the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya wishes to join in the acts celebrating this anniversary with an exhibition located in the permanent collections and centred on a selection of the drawings by the artist conserved in the Museum’s Cabinet of Drawings and Prints. Of this group, made up of over 50 works, the exhibition presents a selection of about 30, representative of the different periods in Rusiñol’s artistic career. A good number of these compositions were part of the collection of the art and literary critic Raimon Casellas and, once they had been acquired by the Museums Board, they were admitted to the Museum in 1911.
