El traç de Cesc

The Palau Robert coach room (Cotxeres) has an exhibition on the work of one of Catalonia's great cartoonists, Francesc Vila i Rufas, known as Cesc, who was the first Avui cartoonist and also worked for the Diari de Barcelona, El Correo Catalán, Tele/eXprés and Paris Match, among other publications.

The exhibition, entitled "La força del traç", coincides with the first anniversary of the death of this cartoonist and painter and it shows some of the regular features of his work, like tower blocks, which for him symbolised the stupidity of power.
