Festival de Peralada in Barcelona

Castell de la Peralada is a historic town in Catalonia, around 150km from Barcelona, and its annual music festival has been running since 1987. It is run by their local Cultural Association, and is part of the European Festivals Association. It mostly showcases classical performances, but also features a range of jazz and pop acts.

The festival offers four weeks of 33 performances from national and international artists, ranging from opera, flamenco, jazz, and gospel to theatrical performances. Highlights include a performance of ´La Boheme´, Diana Krall, and chamber music groups from the Palau de la Musica Catala in Barcelona, marking it´s 100th year anniversary.
