Antigua Restaurant in Barcelona

 

Antigua is a charming little restaurant with an elegant interior, decorated with old-fashioned lamp chandeliers and soft lighting. It specialises in fusion cuisine full of exotic flavours, which makes for an interesting contrast with its traditional, classic interior.  Their dishes range from Duck draguée with sautéed kiwi, stir-fry vegetables and Japanese miso soup, to Cantabrian Oysters with rice vinegar and iced licorice. The more typical Meditarranean courses on offer include the beef fillet with foie, breaded mushrooms and truffle sauce in Port wine, or homemade pasta filled with Gorgonzola and pears and topped with parmesan, walnuts and fried salvia. Well-presented dishes and friendly service.
