Giardinetto Restaurant in Barcelona
Traditional and inventive Italian cuisine, served in romantic, forest-like, designed interior.
Like sitting under a tree, dining in the garden. Giardinetto has one of the most charming interiors in the city. 1974 the restaurant recived the FAD interior prize for the decoration that features tree-like columns, forest-floor coloured carpets, teal banquettes and a roof that reminds of the top of a tree. Live piano music and candle lights fulfills the Italian romantisism. Just note that when crowded, the sound level is too high. At Giardinetto they serve classic dishes such as pasta and risotto the shrimp and crab risotto or the mushroom and parmesan risotto are favorites. But they also offer new dishes like baked brie with tomato and apple marmelade, chicken scallops with mint and plums with armagnac.
