Irati Taberna Vasca Restaurant in Barcelona

 

Irati is one of the first Basque restaurants in Barcelona. Either you come here to experience the typical Basque way of life, by hanging in the long bar, drinking txacolí and serving yourself from the many options of freshly made pinchos and tapas. The quality and never ending variation of the food at Irati is well known. Some popular snacks are croquettes, cubes of tuna and shrimp skewers. For those of you who like to sit down, there is a restaurant in the back (with different timetable), where you can try more elaborated dishes such as roasted monkfish in marmitako sauce, or home made ravioli filled with txangurro.
