Hivernacle

The Hivernacle is on the western edge of the Parc de la Ciutadella on the edge of Passeig del Picasso. The Hivernalce is a large iron building dating from the early 1900's. It has recently been restored and is used for exhibitions and other cultural events. The building also houses some tropical plants. Hivernacle was originally built for the 1888 Universal Exhibition. Nowadays it houses a pleasant coffee shop and a great space for concerts and exhibitions.
