La Rambla
Las Ramblas is a street with a wide pedestrian walkway in the middle. Actually there are several streets together, as it progresses, changes name: Caneletes Rambla, Rambla dels Studies, Rambla de Sant Josep, Rambla dels Caputxins, Rambla de Santa Monica and finally the new part which is on the sea that called Rambla de Mar. Separating the Barri Gòtic and El Raval neighborhoods, La Rambla follows the course of a dry riverbed (Arabic: al-ramla) from the Plaça Catalunya to the waterfront. Bustling with colorful life both day and night, this long, shady avenue is the place to experience the Barcelona vibe as you stroll among the stalls or relax at a sidewalk café, entertained by countless street performers.
